Details of training
At the initiative of Companiganj Upazila, the mobile training unit of Noakhali district provided mobile training to all the upazilas consisting of 25 members of the cooperative society. The training provides co-operatives with information on co-operative laws and regulations, creation of self-employment through capital formation and investment, maintenance of records and preparation of accounts of co-operative societies, responsibility of audit of co-operative societies and selection of societies.Besides, increasing the income of the members of the society by investing in fish farming through 3 guest speakers from different departments, creating self-employment of the members of the society through raising poultry and raising cattle and raising awareness on vegetable cultivation and use of modern agricultural inputs.Discussion on social activities such as: Anti-Dowry, Development of Women's Education, Raising Awareness on Child Marriage and Terrorism and Militancy, IGA and other trainings such as: Basic Computer, Electrical, Mobile Servicing, Sewing, Association Management, Association Accounting and Cooperative Entrepreneur Creation .All these trainings were imparted by experienced trainers at Bangladesh Cooperative Academy, Kotbari, Comilla and Regional Cooperative Educational Institution, Feni. The cost of the training is borne by the Cooperative Department.
